Terry P. Green
Owner/Funeral Director/Embalmer
Terry has been a licensed Funeral Director for the past 36 years, during which time he served on the Embalmers and Funeral Directors Board of Newfoundland and Labrador for 13 years. His career started in Baie Verte, NL, in 1985 under Green’s Funeral Home.
Terry has owned and operated Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL since 2007. He currently has the distinction of owning and operating five funeral homes on the island, which include: Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Botwood Funeral Home, Botwood, NL, Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL, Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL, & Foster Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL.
Terry has had much success in his career, but his greatest success in his lifetime would definitely be his two children, Adam and Katie. After becoming widowed by the death of his wife, Rhonda, and upon his children entering school, Terry immediately offered himself for a position on the school council. This gave him an opportunity to understand how the school was run, how decisions were made, and what support the individual schools received from the school boards and the Department of Education. This fostered a desire to learn more and to become more involved, so he then ran for a position on the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of School Councils. Terry was elected, first run, as first Vice President. His experience with the school system includes 7 years on the local school council, 6 of these as chairperson, and 6 years as the first Vice President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of School Councils.
Terry, along with his lovely wife of two years, Tena, and his children, Adam, Katie and stepdaughter Jenelle reside in Grand Falls-Windsor. In his spare time, Terry’s hobbies include music, sports and outdoor activities.
Terry has an unwavering work ethic, and his dedication to all families in need is very apparent.

Darrin Andrews
Operations Manager/Funeral Director
Hi, my name is Darrin Andrews. I am the dad of two beautiful children, Gavin & Amanda, & the husband of Daisy Andrews; poppy to a beautiful granddaughter, Riley & two beautiful twin grandsons, Calvin & Dawston. I am originally from the town of Point Leamington, NL, and moved to Grand Falls-Windsor 30 years ago and made this beautiful town my home. Since high school, my years in working have been in retail & retail management & call center management, which allowed me to travel to the United States and Kolkata, India. It was after my experiences in India that I realized extensive travel was not for me. Upon my return from India, I applied for a position and was hired by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral home at that time was just acquired by Terry Green from his parents, Winston & Ruby Green. It was then I realized I had found my true niche in life - serving families in their greatest time of need, along with other general work that is required with the five companies. Currently, I am working as an Operations Manager/Licensed Funeral Director for all the funeral homes and have been doing the same for the past 15 years, and I look forward to serving families for many years to come.
During my 15 years, I have helped Terry manage Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Botwood Funeral Home. However, Terry has acquired Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Green Bay Funeral Home, and Baie Verte Funeral Home since my employment with him. After experiencing personal loss in my immediate family, it has helped me understand families in their time of need. As a team, all the staff and I look forward to helping you and your families during your loss or prearranging a funeral for yourself or a loved one.
When I am not working, some of my favorite pastimes include playing the piano, singing, cooking, hiking, camping, & most importantly, meeting people.
Please feel free to reach out to me or any staff member for any inquiries you might have.
