Obituary

It is with sadness that the family of the late Wiley Post Roy Snow, age 80, of King''s Point, NL, announces his passing on January 12, 2016.

Wiley was the youngest of four children born to Frederick and Ethel Snow(nee Foss) of Round Harbour, NL. From the age of 13 he worked as a fisherman until moving to King's Point in his mid twenties. In king''s Point, he began his 30 + year career as a woodsman. It was there that he met and married his wife of 59 years, Georgina. Together they were fortunate enough to adopt two sons, Donald in 1966 and Todd in 1972. Over the years they welcomed many foster children into their home and hearts. They were blessed with the birth of their daughter Amanda in 1979. Wiley was a lover of Newfie music and living by the water. He was always laughing and never missed an opportunity to poke fun at anyone just for badness. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed and deeply loved by all of his family and friends.

He leaves to mourn his wife Georgina Snow; sons Don and Todd; daughter Amanda Lush (Darren); grandchildren, Nathan Snow (Marlena), Nicholas Snow, Cameron Wellman, Kevin Lush, Kaden Lush; great-grandson Alexander Flynn.
