On the morning of March 1 ^st , 2020 Suzanne Ruth Budgell, of Springdale, NL, age 58, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord, at her home surrounded by her family and friends.

Suzanne was born on November 15, 1961 in Springdale to Harvey and Pauline Mercer. She was one of seven siblings, two girls and five boys. She met and later married Glenndyn Budgell of King's Point, on August 18, 1984. They had one son together, Stephen. They went on to be blessed to gain a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren, whom she adored.

Suzanne lived her life to the fullest whatever she was doing. She loved spending time with her family, especially her husband Glen, whether at the cabin or anywhere outside. Suzanne loved spending time with her two grandchildren Lucy and Lincoln.

When Suzanne was not enjoying herself with family, she enjoyed working with her coworkers at The Valley Vista. She worked as a LPN for thirty-six years and then returned after retirement for an additional two years. According to her coworkers, she loved the residents and performed her duties to the highest capacity, from the day she started to the day she finished. Outside of work, she loved to attend church and was a faithful member of Springdale Pentecostal Church.

Suzanne's faith in God was paramount in her life from the beginning, but even more so during her fight with cancer. Her faith and trust in God was a testimony to the many people who's lives she touched. The peace that Suzanne experienced was an encouragement to all of those around her.

She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten by her family, co-workers, church family and friends.

Suzanne was predeceased by her father Harvey Mercer, known to most as Hob.

She leaves to mourn, yet surrounded by love , husband, Glenndyn Budgell of 35 years; son Stephen (Julia) Budgell; grandchildren Lucy Budgell, Lincoln Budgell; mother Pauline  Mercer; sister Carolyn (Todd) Ball; brothers Greg (Lori) Mercer, Marvin (Greta) Mercer, Wayne Mercer, Peter (Suzanne) Mercer, Jason (Nancy) Mercer; sister-in-law Linda Mercer; nieces and nephews, as well as other family members, co-workers and friends.

Ever Remembered, Ever Loved – Forever In Our Hearts!

The Celebration of Life service was held from Springdale Pentecostal Church, Springdale, on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Lindsey Foster officiating, assisted by Pastor William Sampson. Pallbearers were brothers Jason Mercer, Greg Mercer, Marvin Mercer, Peter Mercer; friends Dwight Attwood, Ford Rice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
