It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Sterling Roy Freake of Springdale, NL, age 75 announces his passing on April 18, 2025 at Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, NL.

Sterling leaves to remember with fond and loving  memories; his spouse Pansy Prowse; step-daughter Pamela Prowse; sister Judy (Alex) Prouse; brother Elmo (Marilyn) Freake; nieces Joanne (Herbie) Martin, Jacqueline (Darryl) Dicks, Beverley (Brad), Juanita; great nephew Morgan Martin (Lawerence McCarthy), Freeman; great niece Madison Dicks (Colby Street); brother in law Trevor ( Rosalyn) Prowse; sisters in law Edna (Glen) Newbury, Marion Tulk, Doris Freake, Wanda (Matthew) Wallace.

Sterling is predeceased by his parents Frederick & Vina Freake; brothers Clayton Tulk, Sandy Freake; sister Joy Freake, nephew Jody Freake.

The funeral service will be held from Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL on Tuesday April 22, 2025 at 2 pm with Rev. Irving Hale officiating.

Interment at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Harry's Harbour, NL.
