It is with profound sadness the family announces that Stella Budgell Fudge has gone to rest at her final home January 9, 2025 at Green Bay Heath Centre, Springdale, NL.

Left with aching hearts are her daughter Joy (Ray); son Rudy (Monica); sister Melrose; sisters-in-law Albertha and Mavis; brother in law Henry; grandchildren Ritchie (Pam) Pam (Kirk) Adam (Chantelle) Jenna ( Tyler); great grandchildren Cailey Ella Kaden and Ryder.

Stella is pre deceased by her husband Palmer and second husband Cyril; her parents Isaac and Ellen Chipp; parents in law Earnest and Annie Maude Budgell; Sister Effie; brother Sidney; sister in-law Ida; brother in law Frederick.

Stella was born in Shoe Cove on Dec 8th 1933 and later moved to Middle Arm she came to Kings Point to go 'out in service' with Annie Maude Budgell who had seven boys, she fell in love and married one of the seven sons and remained in Kings Point to raise her family the last six years she has enjoyed the beautiful Kingsway Retirement Center in Springdale many thanks to the staff  for making a happy home there for her she thought the world of them.

Stella loved to knit but needle point was her passion turning out the most beautiful dresser scarfs, aprons, tablecloths and quilts.  She lived a full and happy life and will be remembered for her kindness and patience, and as an avid Salvation Army Church supporter and member content with her life she joyfully went home to be with her Saviour.

The funeral service will be held from The Salvation Army Church, King's Point, NL on Monday January 13, 2025 at 2 pm with Major Osborne Randell officiating. Interment will be at the King's Point Interfaith Cemetery, King's Point, NL.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
