It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Sonny Thomas Harry Henstridge of Triton, NL, age 33, announces his passing on Sunday, January 31, 2021, from his residence in Ear Falls, ON. Sonny is predeceased by his grandparents Harry and Rowena Henstridge, Thomas and May Dowden.

Sonny always had a love for music - starting from his younger days singing in The Salvation Army church in Triton, to playing guitar. Later in his life his hobby was to DJ and make his own music.

He also had a huge love for sports, mainly team sports where he made a lot of lifelong friends. Sonny's humorous, sarcastic and easy going personality made him impossible to forget.

Even though he left us far too soon, he leaves with us memories of laughter to last a lifetime.

Sonny leaves to remember the wonderful life that he lived, his parents Oliver and Barbara Henstridge;  brothers  Vaughn (Della) Henstridge, Shannon (Krista) Henstridge, Mike (Terrilyn) Henstridge; sisters Gayla (Dwight) Decker, Sonya (Leon) Snook, Judy (Mark) Roberts; nephews and nieces  Amber Henstridge, Summer Henstridge, Savannah Henstridge, Emma Henstridge, Ava Henstridge, Jordan Henstridge, Riley Decker, Cameron Decker, Alyssa Snook, Calllie Snook, Olivia Snook, Kayden Roberts, Lucas Roberts, as well as many other family members, wonderful friends and hockey buddies.

Ever Remembered, Ever Loved – Gone But Not Forgotten – Forever In Our Hearts!

The Celebration of Life service was held from the Salvation Army Citadel, Triton on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Majors Terry and Roxann Feltham officiating. Interment was at the Evergreen Cemetery, Triton. Pallbearers were brother Mike Henstridge; friends Jamie Hibbs, Clifford Vincent, Tyrone Lush, Christopher Vincent, Andrew Vincent. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
