It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late William Shawn Hamilton Jr., age 49, of Brampton, ON announces his passing from the Brampton Civic Hospital, Brampton, on September 9, 2020.

William Shawn was known as "Shawn" to his family and friends. He was born to William and Pansey Hamilton Sr., on May 13, 1971 in Toronto, ON. Shawn lived in Ontario all of his life.

Shawn was an individual who loved his family and life in general. He loved to do various activities such as playing chess with his friends, doing crosswords, reading, etc. Shawn was an Iron Steel worker who worked in Brampton for years providing for himself.

He was predeceased by his grandparents – Walter and Mabel Hamilton, William and Dorothy Osmond.

Leaving with a lifetime of memories are his parents William and Pansey Hamilton Sr.; sister Amanda Hamilton; nephews Matthew Stephenson, Andrew Stephenson; and a large number of other relatives and friends.

Shawn will be missed by those whose lives he touched and will be affectionately remembered by his many relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life service was held from the Springdale Pentecostal Cemetery, Springdale, on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Lindsey Foster officiating. Inurnment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Springdale. Arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
