SANDRA COLBOURNE 1955- 2012
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sandra Colbourne of Triton,NLannounces her passing at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, March 4, 2012. Sandra Madge Colbourne was born to Garland & Joyce Vincent on December 8,1955 in Springdale,NL. She married Aubreyon March 22,1975. Together they raised their two sons,Jerry and Jeffrey and later gained two daughters-in-law, Nancy and Kelly. They then became the proud grandparents to seven grandchildren;Emma,Schuyler, Ashton,Nicholas,Rylan,Ocean & Sierra...their little angels.Sandra worked at the fish plant in Triton for 31 years. Her greatest love was her family, especially her little angels. Sandra loved spending time at the cabin with her family and friends where there was lots of fun and for sure a prank/trick involved. She was a friend to all. A stranger was only a stranger for minutes after meeting her. Sandra was a faithful Christian. Her faith carried her right to the end and into heaven.
Predeceased by: her father Garland,brother Bruce and sister Lorraine.Leaving to remember the wonderful life that she lived are:her husband Aubrey;sons Jerry (Nancy),Jeffrey (Kelly); seven grandchildren, Emma, Schuyler, Ashton, Nicholas, Rylan, Ocean, Sierra;mother,Joyce;sisters Rose (David Rice), Peggy (Oral Roberts),Bride (Corvin Winsor),Kathy (Kurt Coombs);brothers Clayton(Bernetta),& Allister,as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Jeff Elliott conducted the funeral service fromMaranatha Pentecostal Tabernacleon Thursday, March 8th withinterment at Triton Evergreen Cemetery.
The pallbearers were: brothers-in-law Corvin Winsor, Kurt Coombs, Oral Roberts, Dave Rice; nephew Byron Winsor and special friends Karen Pinsent, Wanda Short & Stella Dowden.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail Noel and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
