It is with sadness that the family of the late Sadie(Sarah) Hillier, age 71,of Port Anson, NL announces her passing at Springdale Hospital on Saturday May 24,2014. Sadie was born to James and Peggy Hillier on March 15, 1943 in Scotland. She came to Grand Falls - Windsor at the age of three with her family. Sadie loved her Bible and was content to sit for many hours just turning the pages and counting them. Sadie was pre-deceased by her parents, James & Peggy Hillier. Sadie leaves to mourn one sister, Margaret Martin of London, ON, her caretakers, Flossie and Arch Colbourne with whom she resided for the past eleven years as well as a large circle of friends.The Funeral Service was held Wednesday May 28, 2014 @ 11 am from Green Bay Funeral Home with Pastor Tyrone Ball officiating. Interment at The Windsor Pentecostal Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail Hancock and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
