It is with sadness that the family of the late Sadie Victoria Roberts, age 72, of Springdale, NL announces her passing on November 08, 2014 from her residence, Springdale, NL.

Sadie was born on June 21, 1942 to Willis and Gladys Roberts of Robert''s Arm, NL. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

On November 6th, 1959 she married Amos Roberts and together they raised their four children which made their lives complete. On November 6th, 2014, they celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary together.

Sadie dedicated her time to making her family a priority by keeping her home spotless, making their favorite meals and being there whenever they needed her.

Predeceased by parents Willis and Gladys Roberts; brothers Leonard and Mervin.She will be sadly missed, forever loved and never ever forgotten by all those who knew her.She leaves to mourn her husband Amos; daughters Pansy (Noel), Peggy (Andy) and Madena (Randy); son Kirby (Kelly); grandchildren Melissa (Jamie), Michael, Joey (Natalie), A.J., Jeremy, Janaya, Ryan and Korey; great-grandchildren Brianna, Julia, Logan, Blake and Jacob; sisters Jean (Wilf) and Judy (Earl); brothers Bruce (Sue), John (Lois), Jerry (Helen), Tony (Brenda), Eddie (Barb) and Steadman.

The Home Going Service was held from Word of Life Tabernacle, Robert''s Arm, NL on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bill Harnum officiating. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Robert''s Arm, NL. Honorary pallbearers wereMelissa Ryan (granddaughter); Brianna Burton (great-granddaughter), Jean Dicks and Judy Thomas (sisters). The pallbearers wereKirby Roberts (son), Michael Anthony (grandson), Jerry Roberts and Eddie Roberts (brothers), Andre Roberts (nephew) and Noel Green (son-in-law). Arrangements were entrusted to Chris Morgan, Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
