It is with sadness that the family of the late Roy Paddock announces his passing on December 15, 2011. He was born November 3, 1939 to Marmion and Marjorie Paddock, Robert''s Arm. He married June Payne on April 28, 1964 and together they raised four children Neil, Dale, Elaine, and Amy. Robert''s Arm remained home for the rest of his life, even while he worked away to support his family. He worked in different industries throughout his life - mining, carpentry, logging, - and then later in his life he worked as a fishing guide. He loved to hunt, fish, and grow vegetables. He always kept busy. Roy Paddock was known for his quiet demeanour, humble sense of humour and down to earth attitude. He will be missed.
He was predeceased by his father Marmion and sister Flossie. He leaves to mourn mother Marjorie, wife June, sons Neil (Michella), AB, Dale (Donna), NB; daughters Elaine (David Quinn), AB, Amy, AB; sisters Alfreda Campbell & Sandra Fudge; six grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Rev Bill Matchem conducted the funeral service on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from the United Church, Robert''s Arm with interment following at the United Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rodney Gray, Don Paddock, Edward Paddock, Harold Payne, Gary Rideout, Don Sweeney. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail Noel and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home.
