It is with sadness that the family of the late Roy Curtis, age 69, announces his passing on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from the Central NL Regional Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor.
Roy Curtis was born on July 3, 1950 to Wilfred and Violet Curtis of Springdale. Roy married the love of his life, Pansy Spencer, on March 21, 1970. Roy enjoyed life to the fullest. As a young man, some of his hobbies were playing soccer, playing hockey, and tying flies. His passionate hobbies that stayed with him through the years were hunting, fishing, playing guitar, and singing and of course watching the Leafs. The most important thing to Roy was his family, whom he loved unconditionally. Roy worked as a River Guardian for 30 years; he loved his job and co-workers.
His faith in God was paramount; he loved and faithfully supported his church.
He was blessed with a large circle of family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by his wife Pansy Curtis; parents Wilfred and Violet Curtis; baby brother Clyde Curtis.
