It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ross Stanley Roberts of Triton, NL, age 84, announces his passing, on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Springdale Retirement Centre, Springdale, NL.

Ross Stanley Roberts was born to Hedley & Mabel Roberts on January 27, 1934 in Jim's Cove, NL. He was the second of nine children. He married Beryl Winsor of Triton Harbour on December 3 ^rd , 1952. They had nearly 63 years of marriage, raising 2 boys and 2 girls together.

Despite obtaining only a grade 4 education, leaving school to help his parents with family responsibilities, he excelled in every task he took on. He was a man of many talents including carpenter, plumber, electrician, a true master of all trades who worked hard his entire life to provide for his family.

Together, Beryl and Ross enjoyed the quiet life surrounded by family in "the garden" in Jim's Cove. They enjoyed cabin life at both Kippen's Ridge and Head's Harbour. Ross was a quiet and humble man who served his Lord and Savior whole heartedly. On the morning of May 2, 2018 Ross transitioned from his earthly form to the heavenly realm to be reunited with his precious wife who predeceased him in 2015.

Ross was predeceased by his wife Beryl (2015); parents Hedley (1989) & Mable (1998); siblings Ford Roberts (1989), Reginald Roberts (2004), Sylvia Bridger (2014) and three brothers Harry Roberts, Sidney Roberts and Albert Roberts who passed in childhood. He was also predeceased by great grandson Chandler Dean Roberts (2003).

Ross leaves behind with precious memories & great legacy his children Wilmore (Daphne) Roberts, Bonnie (Don) Roberts, Orvin Roberts (Dianne Stein) and Winnie (Lindy) Vincent all of Triton;  brothers Cilfford Roberts, Claude Roberts; grandchildren Krista (Lorne) Hamlyn, Melinda (Brad) Noel, Moody Roberts (Amanda), Marsha (Grant) Whelan, Mark Roberts (Judy Henstridge), Nadine (Con) Roberts, Deidre (Charles) Roberts, Justin Vincent, Justine (Mike) Thomas, Jana-Lynn Vincent (Eugene Peddle); great-grandchildren Kendyl Hamlyn, Kylie Hamlyn, Claire Roberts, Maria Roberts, Ryan Whelan, Drew Whelan, Suri Roberts, Parker Roberts, Cooper Roberts, Noah Thomas, Lucas Roberts; brother-in-law Eugene Bridger; sisters-in-law Bride Roberts, Betty Boone, as well as a large number extended family and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service was held from Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle, Triton, on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Kent Sceviour officiating assisted by Dr. Bradley T. Noel. Interment was at the Evergreen Cemetery, Triton. Pallbearers were son Wilmore Roberts; grandsons Justin Vincent, Moody Roberts; brother Clifford Roberts; nephews Gregory Roberts, Albert Roberts. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
