It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Ronald Carl Knight of Springdale, NL, age 89, announces his passing on August 13, 2024 at the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, NL.

Ronald leaves to remember with fond and loving  memories; his children, Paul (Nola) Knight, Dennis Knight, Rhoda (Eric) LeDrew; daughter-in-law Jackie Knight (Trent); grandchildren, Lawrence, Nicholas, and Katie Knight (Andre)  siblings; Daisy Alcock, Evelyn Dawe; special son-in-law; Graham Noble; special friends; Calvin Noble, Major Gerald Lacey, Alphonsus Walsh.  As well as a large circle of family and friends.

Ronald is predeceased by his wife Helen; sons Larry and Stephen Knight; his parents William & Millie Knight; brothers-in- law, Harry Alcock, Aubrey Dawe; nephew, John Dawe;  as well as 'man's best friend', Martina.

The funeral service will be held from the United Church, Smith's Harbour, NL, on Friday August 16, 2024 at 2 pm with Major Gerald Lacey officiating. Interment will follow at the Smith's Harbour Cemetery.
