It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Roland Thomas Lloyd Paddock of Brighton, NL, age 61, announces his passing on September 19, 2023. He leaves to remember, with fond and loving memories, his wife Marion Fudge; son Eric Paddock; stepson Curtis Weaver (Stephanie Diaz); daughter Josie-Lynn Paddock(Connor); stepdaughters Melissa Burriage, Lorena Fudge (Kelly Wilkie); brothers Ray Paddock, Jim Paddock, Lin Paddock; sisters Avis (Dwight) Moores, Iris Delmore, Lorraine (Jerdon) Hewlett; grandchild Brooklynn.

Roland is predeceased by his parents Samuel & Julia Paddock; and brother Glosson Paddock.

Roland was an excellent mechanic who had a passion for restoring old engines. He loved tinkering in his shed while sharing many great stories with whoever came in. He loved spending time on the water in one of his boats, whether fishing or just exploring.

His goal in life was to finish their house for his Marion! Except for a few minor details he accomplished this. He also had a desire to travel around Newfoundland and he and Marion did just that on their honeymoon.

The Celebration of Life service was held from The Salvation Army, Triton, NL, on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 1 p.m. and Majors Garry and Sandra Ward officiated. The interment was at at the Brighton Community Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearer was   Ray Fudge.  Pallbearers were Eric Paddock, Curtis Weaver, Guy Rice,  Boyd Fudge,  Neil Bridger, and Dennis Fudge.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Harry Oxford and Andrea Cole of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
