It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Rodney Dwight Bridger of South Brook NL, age 56, announces his passing on December 15, 2022. Rod leaves to remember with beautiful memories his father Eugene Bridger; brother; Chris (Kelly); sister, Medena (Eugene Van Lokven), niece Megan nephews Marcus and Declan; as well as cousin Justine and his special friend Michael Thomas.

Rod is predeceased by his mom Sylvia (2014) and sister Patti-Dee (1989).

Passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side, at the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale on Thursday December 15, 2022, Rodney Bridger of South Brook. His passing comes after a 2 year battle with a rare cancer.   His personality was as unique as the disease that took his life.  He didn't want much from life, just his motorcycles, his job at the FPI/OCI fish plant in Triton and a place to call home.  Over the years he made many friends at FPI and truckers at Eddies Restaurant in South Brook.

A Celebration of Life Service took place on Sunday December 18,2022, 2:00pm at Green Bay Funeral Home, for Family only. Interment was at the Triton Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Kerry Northcotte officiating. The pallbearers were; Friend Michael Thomas, Cousins Justine Thomas & Juanita Roberts, Coworkers Leon Fudge, Chad Roberts, Mervin Short. A beautiful Honour Guard at the Cemetery by his Co-workers from OIC plant

Grave Side Service will be open to the Public, aprox time 3:30pm at Triton Evergreen Cemetery
