It is with great sadness that the family of the late Randy George Pynn, age 54 of South Brook, NL,  announces his tragic passing on Sunday, July 23, 2023 on the TCH near Badger, NL.

Randy was born in Baie Verte, NL on June 6,1969.  He married the love of his life, Betty Anstey on April 8,1995. Together they raised two children, Ryan and Austin, and a granddaughter, Bella.

Throughout his lifetime he worked in the woods, fish plant, flag man, and laborer. He enjoyed the camping life, fishing, the great outdoors and his shed. He loved the woods it was the 'other' love of his life.

He loved the Lord and attended church whenever he was able.

Randy is predeceased by his parents, Otto and Brenda Pynn; brother, Roger Pynn; father-in-law, Ralph Anstey; baby granddaughter, Bella Newbury.

Leaving to remember with fond and loving memories are his wife, Betty; sons, Ryan (April) and Austin Pynn; granddaughter, Bella Newbury; step-grandsons Brady, Issac, and Isaiah Hiscock; sister, Roxanne (Albert); and a large number of nieces, nephews; as well as many other family members that loved him.

The Celebration of Life service was held from Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, South Brook, NL  on July 29, 2023, at 2 pm.  Pastor Kerry Northcotte officiated. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, South Brook, NL. The Funeral Service was live-streamed from Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle Facebook page.

The pallbearers were sons; Ryan and Austin Pynn; brothers-in-law; David and Dennis Anstey; nephews; Alex Anstey and Jerry Mitchell; Friend; Eric Tulk.   Honorary Pallbearer was sister; Roxanne Mitchell.

Donations in Randy's memory can be made to assist the family.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Harry Oxford and Andrea Cole of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
