It is with sadness that the family of the late Pearl Morgan, age 76, announces her passing on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from Dr. H. Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL.

Pearl was born to Luke and Louisa Thomas Sr. on December 02, 1939 of Middle Arm, NL. She met and later married Max Morgan on January 10, 1959. Max died in 2001.

She was an all-around-person who loved people, and was loved by everyone and treated everyone as her own. Pearl love attending to her flower garden, she also liked to listen and sing gospel music. She loved the outdoor life, especially spending time with family and having BBQ''s. Pearl loved to cook, for not only her family, but for everyone who came to her house. She was especially known for her lemon meringue pies.

Pearl gave birth to one child, Kevin, but was mother to many. "Kevie" was the joy of her life and so was Mark Colbourne her great-nephew, whom she loved like a 'son'. She dearly loved them both. Pearl dearly loved taking care of Kevin, even after she moved to the Retirement Centre; she would want to put a place at the table for him.

She loved life! Pearl was love by her family and all who knew her.

Pearl is predeceased by her husband Maxwell Morgan; parents Luke and Louisa Thomas; brothers Scott Thomas, Bert Thomas.

She leaves to mourn son Kevin Morgan; caregiver/nephew Randy Colbourne; sisters Joyce Noble, Effie (Albert) Colbourne, Louisa (Clifford) Mitchell, Annie (Winston) Morgan; brothers Jack (Marjorie) Thomas, Luke (Louise) Thomas, Earl (Judy) Thomas as well as nieces, nephews, many other extended family members and friends.

Pearl will be truly missed by all who knew her, she will never be forgotten, and her memory
will stay alive within the hearts of his family and friends.

The Home Going service was held from Springdale Pentecostal Church, Springdale, NL on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Norman Joy officiating. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Grant Ave., Springdale, NL. Pallbearers were nephews Raymond Colbourne, Glen Thomas, Scott Thomas, Darryl Morgan, Mark Colbourne, Michael Taylor. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Bill Weeks, Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
