On a cold February day Rita and Stanley welcome their new born son, Neil Cecil to the world and their family. Neil was born in Springdale, NL and was raised in Jackson's Cove, NL with his four brothers and seven sisters.
Neil met and married the love of his life, Lisa Huxter on June 14, 1999. He started their family at the young age of 18 years. Together they built a loving and memorable life. At this young age he built his first house and became the sole provider for their daughter Jennie. Four years later they had their one and only son, Stephen. The family increased with the joys of two more daughters, Emily and Chelsea.
Neil had a passion for the outdoor life. He loved to fish and hunt. Neil and his family made regular trips to the cabin, where lots of wonderful memories were made. He was well known by many people because of his love for people, fun and life. He made a lot of life time friends. He was more than ready to give a helping hand to whoever needed it.
He had an unconditional love for his wife, four children and seven grandchildren. Neil's humorous, and easy going personality made him impossible to forget. Even though he left us far too soon, Neil leaves us memories and laughter to last a lifetime. He will be greatly missed by all his family, many friends and co-workers.
The Celebration of Life service was held from The United Church, Jackson's Cove, NL. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Major Gerald Lacey officiating, assisted by Major Joshua Randell. Interment was at the Jacksons Cove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Daughter Emily Tulk; Brother Bernard Tulk; Sister Anne Tulk; Grandson Lucas Tulk; Son-in-law Justin England; Cousin Eric Tulk; Brother-in-law Terry Huxter; Friend Corey Matthews. Honorary Pallbearer was Stephen Tulk (son)
