It is with sadness that the family of the late Nancy Meleita Winsor, age 59 of Triton, NL announces her passing at The Health Science Centre, St. John's ,NL on February 8,2014.

Nancy Meleita Winsor was born to Abraham and Eva Boone on November 02, 1954, at Botwood Cottage Hospital, Botwood, NL. Early in life, she accepted Jesus into her heart and followed the Lord through waters of Baptism. On April 01, 1972, she married Percy Boonedeceased November 11, 1982. Together they had three children: Sherry (Betsy), Donna & Vanda. During her years in Cottrell''s Cove, Nancy was a dedicated member of the Pentecostal Church in the community. On September 11th, 1987, Nancy married Wade Winsor. She, along with her daughters, relocated to Triton, NL. Nancy & Wade had two children: Wade Jr., & Jonah. Nancy''s dedication to God''s work carried forward to the Maranatha Pentecostal Church in Triton. She served in various positions in her church: Sunday School teacher, Children''s Church leader, & Board member. She served the Lord faithfully, until He called her home. One could describe Nancy as a kind and compassionate person, always caring about the wellbeing of others. Next to her Lord, her family was her top priority. Nancy''s actions spoke louder than her words in that she demonstrated her faith by her day to day living. While Nancy had many desirable talents, her talents were most evidenced in her cooking and baking. She took great reward in serving up her delicious food creations.
She leaves to mourn: Husband: Wade Winsor Sr. Son: Wade Winsor Jr. (Jessica) Daughters: Sherry Boone (Scott), Donna Roberts (Rocky), Vanda Roberts (Robbie)Sister: Florence Billings (Truman) Special Brother: Archibald Stuckless. Grandchildren: Kyle Roberts, Katie Roberts, Craig Breen, Emily Breen, Whitney Roberts, La Toya Roberts, Kaylie Winsor,& Chloe Winsor. Sisters-in-law & Brothers-in-law: Brenda Winsor, Verna Pinksen (Dave), Cyril Winsor (Fern), Wanda Short (Clarence), Brian Winsor (Jean), Mike Winsor (Judy), Joe Winsor (LoveJoy), Terry Winsor (Deborah), Todd Winsor (Suzette) & Angela. Pre-deceased by: Parents: Abraham & Eva Boone; Husband: Percy Boone; Son: Jonah Winsor; Brother: Clancey Boone; Parents-in-law: Gordon & Avis Winsor; Brothers-in-law: Rick Winsor & Oliver Boone.
The Celebration of Life Service for Nancy was held at Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle, Triton, NL on Wednesday February 12, 2104 with Pastor Kent Sceviour officiating, assisted by Pastor Mark Foster. Interment was at The Triton Evergreen Cemetery.The pallbearers were grandchildren: Craig Breen,Emily Breen,Kyle Roberts, Katie Roberts,LaToya Roberts and Dameon.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail Hancock and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home,Springdale, NL.
