It is with great sadness that the family of the late Minnie G. Locke (nee Snow) of Robert''s Arm, NL age 78, announces her passing, on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Valley Vista Senior Citizens Complex, Springdale, NL.

Minnie Gushelia was born on November 29, 1936 in Woodford's Cove to Dorothy and George Snow. She met Arch Locke in October 1953 in Little Bay Islands where she worked as a housekeeper. They married on December 5, 1954. They settled in Robert's Arm and raised 6 children.

Minnie worked at Springdale Hospital and Triton Fish Plant. She enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved to bake, knit and pick berries. Minnie and Arch had a cabin on Kippins Ridge where they enjoyed spending time and tending to a garden. She was a kind hearted woman who always put her children before herself.

She is predeceased by husband Arch Locke; parents George and Dorothy Snow; grandson Coady Locke; sister Alma Snow; brother Jim Snow.

Minnie will be truly missed by all who knew her, she will never be forgotten and her memory will stay alive within the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves to mourn sons Rayfield Locke, George Locke (Michalann), Collin Locke, Elvis (Crystal) Locke; daughters Kim (Kevin) Fowlow, Margo (Kirk) Parsons; grandchildren Ashley Locke, Raquel Blake, Lacey Brown, Patrick Locke, Jasmine Locke, Anthony Fowlow, Kennedy Fowlow, Nicholas Parsons, Nathan Parsons; four great-grandchildren; sisters Almena (Stewart) Wiseman, Geneva Soper, Loretta Penney, Marguerite (Phil) Rheault; brothers Rueben (Nealie) Snow, Samuel (Glenda) Snow, Vince (Pansy) Snow, Woodrow (Kay) Snow; as well as other extended family members and friends.

The Home Going service was held from Word of Life Tabernacle, Robert''s Arm, NL on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Pastors Bill and Judy Harnum officiating. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Robert''s Arm, NL.Honorary pallbearer was son George Locke.Pallbearers were son Elvis Locke; sons-in-law Kirk Parsons, Kevin Fowlow; brothers Vince Snow, Samuel Snow, Rueben Snow. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jonathan Noel, Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
