It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Melvina 'Jean' Laing of Port Anson, NL, age 74, announces her passing on November 13, 2023. Jean leaves to remember with fond and loving memories; her husband Leonard; daughters Cynthia Pittman (Carl Peddle), Bobbi-Jo Burton; step-sons Dean Laing, Terry Laing, step-daughters Marilyn Chase, Valerie-Sue Livingston, Zetta Laing; grandchildren; Daniel Rice, Amelia Rice, Shane Lethbridge, Joey Burton; great-grandchildren; Mataya Rice, Noah Rice, Jace Burton; brothers Amos (Sue Pittman) Harold Pittman, Roland Pittman, Lewis Pittman, Barry Pittman; sisters Shirley Blackmore, Ruth Warr

Jean is predeceased by her parents Samuel & Mary Pittman; infant baby Laing; sister Elizabeth Burton; brothers Calvin Pittman, Wilfred Pittman; Parents-in-law Joseph & Alice Laing

The Celebration of Life service will be held at Redemption Pentecostal Assembly, on November 17, 2023 at 1 pm with Pastor Bill Harnum officiating. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery Port Anson, NL.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
