It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Maurice Cecil Burton of Beaumont, NL, age 53, announces his sudden passing on March 2, 2026 in Triton, NL.

Maurice leaves to remember with fond and loving memories his wife of 24 years Yvonne; daughters Jodi (Corvin) Rowsell, June (Jonathan) Fudge, Jane Roberts (Brad Colbourne); grandchildren Marshall known as 'Pops Boy' (Emily), Brooke, Abigail, Faith, Isabelle, Sebastian, River known as 'Pops Girl', Rayne; great-great grandson Sam; sister Katherine-Ann (Hedley) Croucher; niece April and great niece Addison. As well as a large circle of family and friends and co-workers of the Long Island Ferry.

Maurice is predeceased by his parents Pearce & Louise Burton; sister Debbie.

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
