She became a born again Christian at an early age and attended the Apostolic Faith Church where she was an active member & Sunday School teacher.
She only received grade 5 or 6 but that never stopped her from excelling in many aspects of life. Along with being a full time mother, she was a self-taught seamstress, making many of her children's clothing, even wedding dresses. She was also an excellent baker and cake decorator. She loved crocheting, knitting, making beautiful quilts. She loved taking photos and was good at it. She also loved going to picnics, picking berries and spending time at their cabin. She designed, drew and decorated the church walls.
She was well loved and will be remembered for years to come. She will be greatly missed. Our loss is Heaven's gain. We look forward to meeting again someday.
