It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marjorie Marie Wells, age 77, of Springdale, NL announces her passing at the Central NL Regional Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on February 22, 2017.
Marjorie was promoted to glory into the presence of her Lord, who received her and welcomed her home. She often talked about "Going Home", the place where she would be united with her loved ones. She waited for His time and day.
Marjorie and Bruce were married on March 16, 1965. Together they raised five children who were the joy of her life. She treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
She never sought fame or fortune, but was completely satisfied with the love of family and thrived to make them happy. Home was the center of her life. They were never in want. Marjorie loved to cook up feeds, especially pork chops, rabbit head soup, and homemade bread. She was a great provider for her children and made sure they had what was necessary. A new outfit at the beginning of the school year was a sure thing.
Everyone was like family to Marjorie; she delighted to have family and friends visit. She was loved by everyone who knew her, hugs often accompanied her smile. Selflessness was one of her many characteristics - others always came before her.
Pre-deceased by husband Bruce "Jausie" Wells; parents Archibald and Minnnie Tizzard; sisters Ivy Noble, Lou Young, Rose Hobbs Bursey, Daphne Bennett; brothers William, Lloyd, Edward, Cyril, and Malcolm Tizzard.
She leaves to remember the wonderful life that she lived daughters Deanne (Jéan Payette) and Linda (Jonathan) Noel; sons Terry (Lori-ann), Dean (Dana), and Steve (Nicole); grandchildren Bradley, Dylan, Christopher, Stephane, Jordan and Jake; great-grandchild Macy; sisters Mabel Roberts and Greta Marsh; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members and friends.
