It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Marjorie Elizabeth Thomas – Reid of Miles Cove, NL, announces her passing at her residence, aged 87 years.

Marjorie leaves to remember with fond and loving memories; her husband, William 'Ross' Reid Sr.; sons, Don (Shirley) Thomas; daughters, Mildred (Gilbert) Dampier, Helen (Ivan) Tilley, Della (John) Fairbanks; step-sons, Denzil (Betty-Jean) Reid, Ross (Gloria) Reid Jr.; step-daughters, Heather (Peter) Hillier, Beverly Reid, Diane Ryan; brothers, Melvin (Effie) Rideout, Chesley (Linda) Rideout; sisters, Maxine Blake, Jeanette Newbury, Stella Canning; 5 grandchildren; 30 step-grandchildren; & 6 great-grandchildren.

Marjorie is predeceased by her first husband, Ralph Thomas; her parents, John & Ida Rideout; brothers, Thomas. Morris and Raymond Rideout; brother-in-law, Henry Newbury, Frank Blake and Kay Canning.

A private family Celebration of Life Service will take place from Green Bay Funeral Home, 145 Cpl. S. Bouzane Blvd, Springdale NL on Saturday December 23 with Pastor Ivan Tilley officiating.

The interment will follow at the King's Point Interfaith Cemetery.
