It is with sadness that the family announce the passing of Marilyn Belle Clarke at the Valley Vista Seniors Home, Sprindale, NL aged 69 years.

Marilyn Leave to mourn with fond and loving memories her siblings, Jean, Bonnie (Ron), Millie (Eugene), Kay, Loretta (Dennis), Roy (Sherry), Myra (David), Ron (Brenda-lee); sisters-in-law, Rose and Beulah; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Beatrice Clarke; brothers, Samuel, Freeman, and Ivan; brothers-in-law, Orville Newbury and John Cook.

Marilyn was a woman of strong and unwavering faith. She devoted her life to serving God and others in Sunday School and youth programs in church. She spent her working career as a Personal Care Attendant across the island until her failing health.

She was a generous woman who loved cooking, baking, sewing and reading. She was happiest when entertaining and sharing her hospitality with friends and family.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Valley Vista Seniors Home and Providential Care Home for the love, compassion, and excellent care they provided to Marilyn during her time there.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

The public visitation will take place Wednesday, May 20,2026 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Green Bay Funeral Home, 145 Cpl. S. Bouzane Blvd., Springdale, NL.

There will be a private funeral by invitation only Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Green Bay Funeral Home 145 Cpl. S. Bouzane Blvd., Springdale, NL.
