It is with sadness that the family of the late Margaret Webber, age 75, of Beachside, announces her passing at Green Bay Health Care Centre on February 19, 2014. Margaret was born to Chesley & Fanny Coombs on July 12, 1938 Port Hope Simpson, Lab. Left to mourn, with wonderful memories, are her husband Lloyd; son Shawn; daughters Wanda Squires(Neil),Nancy Bowers(Terry); Roxanne (daughter-in-law);brothers Harold Bingle (Eileen),Reginald Coombs, George Coombs(Alma) Roy Coombs (Laura),Cliff Coombs (Grace); sisters Verna Thomas(Louis),Martina Joy(Dave); grandchildren Richard Squires, Jeffrey Webber (Jenny), Travis Webber, & Cory Webber; sister-in-law Jacqueline Young.and Calvin Inder (Rose) who was like a son to her. In mother''s words;" Lots of dear friends too many to name cause you''d need too much paper". Pre-deceased by her parents; sister, Linda Penney; daughter Mary; brother Andy and grandson Matthew. The Home Going service was held from Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle, Beachside on Sunday February 23, 2014 with Pastor James Lander officiating, assisted by Pastor George Coles. Interment was at The Beachside Pentecostal Cemetery. The pallbearers were Richard & Neil Squires, Travis & Cory Webber, Terry Bowers & Arthur Bennett. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
Donations in Margaret's memory can be made to The Cancer Society to be given to families in need of financial assistance while loved ones are receiving treatment.The Webber family had been recipents in the past and know first hand how much this will be appreciated.
