It is with sadness that the family of the late Mabel Fudge (nee Winsor), age 88, of Brighton, NL announces her passing on Friday, March 2, 2018 from the Central NL Regional Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

Mabel was born on December 31 ^st , 1929 in Triton, NL to parents Alfreda and Victor Winsor. Mabel married the love of her life, Roy on May 24, 1951 and relocated to Brighton, NL.

Together, Roy and Mabel raised thirteen children. They were blessed with nineteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Mabel was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She deeply loved and cared for all her family and felt an unwavering sense of pride in them all.

Mabel was a generous, fun-loving, outgoing woman who loved life and enjoyed the company of all. She was a natural comedian with a personality as large as life. She loved to tell stories and bring smiles and laughter to everyone she met.

Generosity, unconditional love, perseverance, determination, strength and loyalty are just some of the many qualities Mabel possessed throughout her remarkable life. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of enduring faith and deep love which will provide lasting comfort to us all.

Mabel passed away on March 2, 2018 in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL surrounded by her family.

She is predeceased by her parents Victor and Alfreda Winsor; children Jerry Fudge, Calvin Fudge; grandchildren Lucas Fudge, Melody Fudge; brothers & sister- in-law Andrew (Emma) Winsor, Bill (Christine) Rice, Frankie (Greta) Winsor, Joshua (Marjorie) Winsor; sisters & brothers-in-laws Mary (Raymond) Simms, Violet (Garland) Winsor, Alma (Fredrick) King.

Mabel leaves to mourn her loving husband of 67 years Roy Fudge; children George (Trudy) Fudge, Woodrow (Marilyn) Fudge, Wayne (Jane) Fudge, Ray (Marjorie) Fudge, Willie (Mona) Fudge, Paul (Ruth) Fudge, Keith (Jackie) Fudge, Tony (Heather) Fudge, Lorraine (Clarey) Roberts, Ricky (Lisa) Fudge, Michael (Paula) Fudge; grandchildren Shane (Catherine) Fudge, Serena (Preston) Fudge, Sheridan (Tracy) Fudge, Blair (Sabrina) Fudge, Byron (Katie) Fudge, Jonathan (June) Fudge, Rebecca Fudge, Mark Fudge (Gordon), Mindy (Adam) Snow, Nathan (Lisa) Fudge, Adrienne Fudge, Hilary Fudge, Adam (Catherine) Fudge, Jesse Fudge, Daniel Fudge, Tyler (Amie) Roberts, Morgan Fudge, Bailey Fudge (Brian), Brooke Fudge; great-grandchildren James Fudge, Benjamin Fudge, Mitchell Fudge, Tamarah Fudge, Clay Fudge, Ethan Fudge, Ryan Fudge, Marshall Roberts, Isabelle Fudge, Rachel Snow, Ava Snow, Gavin Wimbleton, Lewis Roberts, Derek Roberts, India Fudge, Arlo Fudge, as well as other relatives and many friends.

The Home Going Celebration Service was held from Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle, Triton on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Kent Sceviour officiating. Interment was at the Brighton Community Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Fudge, Tamarah Fudge, Mindy Fudge, Bailey Fudge, Brooke Fudge, Rebecca Fudge, Hilary Fudge. Pallbearers were Shane Fudge, Sheridan Fudge, Mark Fudge, Jonathan Fudge, Tyler Roberts, Blair Fudge, Jesse Fudge, Nathan Fudge, Morgan Fudge, Adam Fudge. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
