It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Lot Gilbert Loveman of Miles Cove, NL, age 79, announces his passing on September 25, 2024 at the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, NL.

Lot leaves to remember with fond and loving memories, his wife of 53 years Gladys; son, Dwight (Kelly); daughter-in-law, Krista; grandchildren, Katie, Matthew and Jillian; sisters, Lottie (Elmo) Quinlan, Linda Locke.

Lot is predeceased by his son, Clint; parents, George and Lilly Loveman.

Lot Gilbert Loveman was born on July 3, 1945 in Twillingate, NL to George and Lilly Loveman.

Lot lived in Leading Tickles for the first 3 years of his life and then his family moved to Miles Coves, NL. During his working years Lot worked in the logging industry, he attained a trade in bricklaying and later moved to Labrador City where he became a full time Heavy Equipment Operator.

It was in Labrador City where Lot and Gladys raised their own family until they retired in May, 2000. Lot always wanted to return to his home of Miles Cove and that is where he spent the final 24 years of his life.

Lot enjoyed boating, fishing, cutting wood, rebuilding cars, woodworking and going on snowmobile and quad.
He spent the last 24 years of his life doing the things he loved.

The funeral service will be held from Pentecostal Church, Miles. Cove, NL on Saturday September 28, 2024 at 1 pm with Pastors David and Joan Wells officiating. The interment followed at the Miles Cove Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
