It is with sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Webber, age 73, of Beachside, NL announces his passing at his residence in Beachside, on September 20, 2014. Lloyd was born to John & Blanche Webber on September 10, 1941 of Southern Arm, NL. Throughout his life he had worked at Little Bay mine, but spent most of his time on the water as a fisherman. Another great love of his life was spending time in the woods. Left to mourn with wonderful memories are son: Shawn (Tracey); daughters: Wanda (Neil) and Nancy (Terry); daughter-in-law: Roxanne; sister: Jacqueline; grandchildren: Richard (Nicole), Jeffrey (Jenny), Travis and Cory; other relatives and special individuals: Cal Inder, Juanita & Art Bennett, Neil and Greta Young and Bernetta. He was pre-deceased by his wife: Margaret; his parents: John and Blanche Webber; daughter: Mary; grandson: Matthew; brother: Gordon; sister: Netta; brother-in-law: Gordon and sister-in-law: Jean. The Home Going service was held from Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle, Beachside on Sunday, September 24, 2014 with Pastor J. Lander officiating, assisted by Pastor W. Angell. Interment was at The Beachside Pentecostal Cemetery. Honorary pallbearer: Neil Young. The pallbearers were Shawn Webber, Neil and Richard Squires, Terry Bowers, Travis Webber & Arthur Bennett. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail Hancock, Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
