It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Lillian Hewlett, age 83 of Robert's Arm, NL. announces her passing on February 7, 2022.

Lily is predeceased by her husband, Albert Hewlett; parents, Arthur & Victoria Loveman; sons, Edwin Hewlett & Roy Hewlett; daughter, Linda Hewlett.

Lily leaves to remember with fond and loving memories her daughters, Maxine (Paul) Hewlett, Joy (Herb) Payne, Geraldine (Gord) Roberts, & Wanda Hewlett (Lloyd Roberts); sons, Woodrow (Beulah) Hewlett, Kevin (Rosemary) Hewlett, Glen (Roxanne) Hewlett, & Kenneth Hewlett; sisters, Molly (Fred) Norman, Ruby (Llewllyn) Whalen, & Jackie (Jerome) Rowsell; brothers, Mark (Effie) Loveman, & Raymond (Gwen) Loveman; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; as well as many other family members & wonderful friends.

Lillian 'Lily' Sarah Beatrice Marie Hewlett was born to Arthur and Victoria Loveman on November 16, 1938. On November 24, 1954, she married the love of her life, Albert Hewlett. They lived in Miles Coves until they moved to Robert's Arm, NL, where together they raised their family.

Lily's greatest joy in life was attending church and serving her Lord, which she did faithfully; instilling her love for Christ into her family in prayer. Her favourite hymns were the ones about Heaven and going home. 'Her heart was big,' her prayers were strong, and her laughter was the best. She was very well known for her laughter and enjoyed every chance she got to spend time with family and friends. If you met Lily once, you were a friend for life.

The Celebration of Life service was held from Word of Life Tabernacle, Robert's Arm, on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Laun Brushett officiating. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Robert's Arm. Pallbearers were: daughter Maxine Hewlett; grandsons Chris Payne, Stephen Hewlett, James Payne; granddaughter Lisa Payne; great-granddaughters Sara Payne & Abby Hewlett.
