It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Leonard Claude Lush of Triton, NL, age 73, announces his passing on Friday, September 17, 2021. Leonard is predeceased by his parents Willis & Annie Lush, Brothers, Barry Lush, Cyril Lush, Alvin Lush

Leonard leaves to mourn and remember with love, his wife Christine; Daughter Lori Anne Lush ( Aziz Oukoudda); Brothers Wilfred (Ruth) Lush, Wilson (Shirley) Lush, Wayne (Janice) Lush; Sisters Judy Ryan, Joy (Hayward) Strickland; Grandchildren Alyssa Lush, Nikita Lush, Austin Lush; Great-grandchildren Leanna Moore, Isabella Lush, Alexander Lush, Eva Moore; Sisters-in-law Ruth Fudge, Louise Lush, Golda Lush.

Leonard was born march 1st 1948 to Willis and Annie Lush and raised among 6 brothers and 2 sisters  in Jims Cove triton NL.

On June 21, 1975 he married his sweetheart Christine White and soon after they welcomed their only daughter Lori Anne into their world .

Lori Anne gave them great joy of becoming Nan & Pop to 3 grand kids , Alyssa , Nikita ,and Austin as well as 4 great - grandkids  Isabella , Alexander, LeeAnne and soon due Eva Marie they loved their family very much .

Leonard gave more than his best to working hard for his family and provided what he could .He worked hard as a logger and  helping family in the fishery. He loved the outdoors hunting, trouting , berry picking and he had a keen eye on sighting up the        guns for people in the community , later years he spent many hours at the towns arena watching hickey games and socializing , In the community he was a well known man and liked by all who knew him as the chatty , helpful caring man he was he loved the      youth and always had time for them or a quirky joke said and helping anyone who needed it without wanting anything in return.

On September 17, 2021 he closed his eyes and passed peacefully at home next to his loving wife.

The Celebration of Life service was held from Tthe Pilley's Island Community Complex.  on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Majors Terry and Roxann Feltham officiating. Interment was at the Evergreen Cemetery, Triton. Pallbearers were brother Wilfred Lush, Nephews Danny White, David White, Tyrone Lush; family friend Clifford Roberts; Cousin Lou Whalen. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Harry Oxford and Julia Budgell of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
