It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Karel Koper of Springdale, NL, age 76, announces his passing on July 15, 2025 at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls -Windsor, NL with his wife Betty at his side.

Karel leaves to remember with fond and loving memories his wife of 45 years Betty; daughter Jolene (Will) Bennett; sons Steve, Greg; grandchildren Matthew Koper, Aaliyah Koper, Benjamin Koper-Thompson; siblings Ina (Ted) Banks, Peter (Anne) Koper, John (Sonia) Koper, Cathy (Larry) Wright, Roland (Lily) Koper, Mary (Gus) Sequeria, Joanne (Peter) Peois, Margie (Scott) Meakin. As well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Karel is predeceased by his parents Martin & Trudy; sister Jody Koper.

The public visitation will take place Monday, July 21, 2025 at 7-9 pm from Green Bay Funeral Home, 145 Cpl. S. Bouzane Blvd., Springdale, NL.

The funeral service will be held from Springdale Pentecostal Church, on Tuesday, July 22 at 1 pm with Pastor Lindsey Foster officiating. Cremation to follow.
