Juanita Mary Whalen, surrounded by the love of her family, passed peacefully away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the age of 84.

Juanita leaves to mourn the love of her life, Ray, her loving husband of 62 years. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughter Sharon Quinlan (Kevin), son Jerry (Sybil), & daughter Nadine Ryan (Cyril). Her grandchildren Jake Pelley (Stacie), Jonsy Pelley, (Ryan), Jeremy Whalen, Joshua Whalen, Rayelle Matthews, & Olivia Matthews (Max). Her great-grandchildren Kaden Pelley, Rogan Coombs & Saylor Coombs. Her siblings Don Lane (Marilyn), Dale Lane (Zetta), Betty Belbin (Roy) , Carolyn Belbin, Renee Paddock (Carter), sister-in-law Carrie Lane. Juanita is predeceased by her parents John & Gertrude Lane, brothers Ivan & Roy Lane, infant sister Juanita Lane, sister Jacqueline Down (Cyril) & brother-in-law Calvin Belbin. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Juanita will be remembered for her great love of family, her passion for "being in the kitchen" and her strong faith & devotion to her savior, Jesus Christ.

A celebration of her life will take place at the Springdale Pentecostal Church, Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 2:00 pm.

The interment will take place at the Living Waters Cemetery, Springdale, NL.
