It is with sadness that the family of the late Juanita Gladys Norman,age 55 of Langdon's Cove, NL announce her passing at Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale on February 16,2014. Juanita was born to Charles and Sarah Dicks of Jackson's Cove, NL on July 28th, 1958. On August 28, 1981 Juanita married the love of her life and her best friend Fred Norman and together they raised 5 beautiful children, Lisa, Bobby, Mandy, Rebecca and Phillip. Juanita lived in Jackson's Cove all of her life where she cherished being a mother and wife. The joy of Juanita's life is her beautiful and precious grandchildren. Juanita was also a loyal and caring Sister Sheila George, Aunt, Friend, and Confidant to many people. She welcome all of those who came for a visit, even if it was strangers knocking at the door, by the time they left she had made a new friend. Juanita fought her courageous battle with Cancer for 14 years; no matter how sick she was or if she was having a bad day she would always give you a beautiful smile and a hug. Her legacy and courage and strength will continue to live on with her loved ones. Gone but never will be forgotten. The Celebration of Life Service was held on February 21, 2014 from The Salvation Army, Harry''s Harbour, with Majors Rex & Catherine Paddock officiating. Interment was at the Jackson''s Cove Cemetery. The pallbearers Lisa Budgell, Mandy Bullard, Bobby Norman, Phillip Norman, Jalyssa Budgell , Keesha Budgell, Blaine Budgell &Tom Norman. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Harry Oxford and Chris Morgan of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
