It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Joy Linda Roberts of Triton, NL age 77, announces her passing on September 30, 2023.

She leaves to remember with fond and loving memories; her husband, Ambrose of 55 years; daughters, Angela (Tracy), & Alisa (Cliff); son, Peter (Carla); grandchildren, Mitchell-Lee (Nicole), Marcus (Alanna), Lashonda (Nick), & Peyton; great-grandchildren, Sailor, & Raylynn; sisters, Jean (Aubrey), Kay (Lloyd); brother, Lorne (Mary); brothers-in-law, Barry, Dennis (Debbie), & Todd; as well as a wide circle of family and friends whom she loved.

Joy is predeceased by her great-granddaughter, Adalynn Shirley Roberts; parents, Louise and Harold Winsor; sister, Madeline (Ford); parents-in-law, Clara & Roger Roberts, Aubrey Roberts, Sterling Roberts, & Jack Winsor.

Joy married her life long partner Ambrose on August 17, 1968 and they settled in Triton.  There they raised 3 children Angela, Alisa and Peter.

Joy had a great love for crocheting, knitting and making quilts, watching her flowers grow and the birds feeing outside her window.  Growing up her fondest memory was working in their family chip van.

Joy went to work at a young age at Dorman Roberts Plant and from there onto the plant FPI until she retired in 2012.

Joy was a faithful member of the Pentecostal church. She was a very active volunteer, Sunday school leader, WM & a part of many groups.  She spent 30+ years serving with the Firettes and other committees such as Triton day& recreation.

Joy loved attending her Weigh in's group and even if she gained the morning breakfast outings at Fudges Restaurant was well worth it.

Joy had a great sense of humour and was always up for a laugh, most of all she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother.  She will be dearly missed.

The Celebration of Life Service was held from Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle, Triton, NL on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 2 pm.  Interment was at the Evergreen Cemetery, Triton NL.

Honorary Pallbearers were: Mitchell Lee, Marcus, Lashonda, & Peyton. Pallbearers were: Roger Roberts, Charles Winsor, Boyd Vincent, Grayson Winsor, Jodi Rowsell, & Mary Roberts. There will be an Honour Guard by Triton Firettes and Weighin's Group.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Harry Oxford and Andrea Cole of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
