It is with great sadness, but with a shout of victory, that the family of the late James Donald Fogarty, age 83, of London, ON, announces his passing from the Victoria Hospital, London, ON, on Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Jim is predeceased by his parents Bruce and Rita Fogarty; son Ron; brother Bob.

James Donald Fogarty was born November 26, 1937 to  Bruce and Rita Fogarty. Jim lived most of his life in Toronto. He g raduated both High School & Bible School at Caronport 1957 - 1961.

He loved music, he loved to sing and play the trumpet, of which  he played for 51 years at the Peoples Church in Toronto. He was a Christian and loved his Lord. Church was a vital part of his life. Jim was a very quiet, kind, and caring gentleman. He toured all over Canada and USA as well several countries in Europe with The Word of Life Ministries. Jim loved fishing, also did Canadian Trophy   Fishing  and  Chartering   on Lake Ontario for 35 years.

He leaves to remember the wonderful life that he lived, wife Ruby; step-son Shawn; step- daughter Ruby (Kenneth) Peddle; daughter-in-law Lisa Fogarty; sisters Poppy, Sharon, Shirley; grandchildren Tatiana, Arabella; step-grandchildren Jennifer, Shawn Jr., Jennifer (Paul) Tesone, Sarah and Kayla; great-grandchildren Evan and Gracie; sister-in-law Audrey (Ross) Ivany, Shirley (Gerald) Fudge, Marjorie (Marvin) Jacobs and Marilyn Hicks-Gillingham. As well as many extended family members and friends. He will be missed by his family and friends, but not forgotten.

Memorial service will take place at a later date to be announced. More information will be posted when it becomes available.
