It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Lemuel Campbell, age 82, of Robert's Arm, NL announces his passing at Central NL Regional Hospital, on Saturday, December 7, 2019.

James Lemuel Campbell was one of nine children, born to Daniel and Myrtle Campbell of Robert's Arm. James met the love of his life, Juanita Simms, in 1960 and they wed on April 19, 1962. They began their life together in Triton, raising their two sons and four daughters later moving to Robert's Arm. James and Juanita spent 57 wonderful years married. No matter the trials and struggles they had to endure, their love was unwavering and a true testament to what marriage and commitment truly is.

James worked his early years as a logger, and for a period of time in line construction, and then later at the fish plant in Triton. He always worked hard to provide for his family and was a dedicated family man. James loved sharing stories of days gone by and enjoyed family and laughter. He had a great love of the outdoors and hunting.

His wife and six children could not have asked for a better husband and father. He will be forever missed by his family and loved beyond measure from here to eternity, until we meet again.

James is predeceased by his parents Daniel and Myrtle Campbell, brothers John Campbell, Bert Campbell, Chesley Campbell, Maxwell Campbell; sisters Irene Burton, Mimie Oake, Jessie Ryan.

He leaves to remember with loving memories his wife Juanita; sons Bradley Campbell, Todd Campbell (Nancy Watts); daughters Joanne (James) Bartlett, Sue (Amos) Pittman, Kitty (David) Winsor, Bernadine (Chris)Tuck; brother Daniel (Alfreda) Campbell; grandchildren Lucas, Beverly, Terrance, Felicia, Brianna, Seirra, James, Shania, Brandon, Brady, Susan, Juanita, Jamie, Jenelle; great-grandchildren Hayden, Jacob, Maddie, Jesse, Zaidan, Kyden, Nate, Jax, Jera, Judd, as well as many nephews and nieces and other relatives.

Ever Remembered, Ever Loved – Forever In Our Hearts!

The Celebration of Life service was held from The Salvation Army, Robert's Arm, on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 with Majors George and Karen Crocker officiating. Interment was at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Robert's Arm. Honorary pallbearers were grandchildren Felicia Campbell, Brianna Spencer, Shania Parsons, Jenelle Roberts, James Campbell Jr., Seirra Campbell, Denika Faulkner. The pallbearers were sons-in-law Jim Bartlett, David Winsor, Chris Tuck; nephews Ivan Oake, Pat Williams; friend Robert Ryan. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
