Hilda Grace Wells of Springdale NL, age 69, passed peacefully into her heavenly home surrounded by the love of her family on March 1, 2026 at Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, NL.

Hilda leaves to remember with fond and loving  memories; brothers Boyce (Mavis), Derrick & Austin; sisters Jessie (Maurice) Sullivan, Violet Greer; sisters in law Shirley, Annie, Ann & Ellen.

Hilda is predeceased by her parents David & Grace; brothers Simon, Pleaman, Clarence, John, David & Clifford; sister Irene (Ward) Baker.

Hilda is gone to her heavenly home!

She was born to David & Grace Wells in Springdale, NL where she lived most of her life, with the exception of short stays in Barrie, ON., Corner Brook NL., and Grand Falls – Windsor, NL.  She loved butterflies, children, berry picking and swimming up the brook at Harvey's garden.  She was a thyroid cancer survivor!

Hilda gave her heart to the Lord on Jan. 1, 1988, water baptism July 24, 1988 & baptism in the Spirit April 26, 2015.  Over the years she was faithful in Bible reading; jotting notes on index cards.

There is a void in our lives but our loss is heaven's gain.  She is with her Heavenly Father.  We will meet again!

Visitation will be held from Green Bay Funeral Home, 145 Cpl. S. Bouzane Blvd, Springdale, NL on Tuesday March 3, 2026 2-4PM and 7-9PM.

The funeral service will be held from Springdale Pentecostal Church, on Wednesday March 4, 2026 at 1PM with Pastor Lucas Perry officiating.

Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Cherry Cres., Springdale, NL.
