It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Thomas Legge of Springdale, NL, age 66, announces his passing, on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from the Green Bay Health Care Centre, Springdale.

Harvey Thomas Legge was born on April 10 ^th , 1952 to Ernest & Ethel Legge of Twillingate NL. Harvey was one of seven children and was raised in a loving home. Harvey was blessed to become the father of two boys and later to have three grandchildren (Ashley, Isabella & Hunter) come into his life; his family meant the world to him.

On December 20 ^th , 2007 Harvey Married Stella Fudge and together they enjoyed all aspects of life. Harvey and Stella's family blended well, this pleased Harvey very much.

Harvey was a fisherman, a carpenter, small business owner, a jack of all trades who could put his hand to just about anything and produce excellent work. Harvey prided himself in his skills as a tradesperson and was known as a man to depend on! Harvey was a faithful member of Springdale Pentecostal Church and had many friends in the church and community.

This past year Harvey was diagnosed with cancer, he fought a brave fight, but on August 7 ^th , 2018 Harvey T. Legge went into the presence of the Lord whom he served. He is gone but never forgotten; he left us too quickly and will be greatly missed by a large circle of family and friends.

He is predeceased by his father Ernest Legge; brother Wilbert Legge.

Harvey leaves to remember the wonderful life that he lived, his wife Stella Legge; sons Brian (Pamela) Legge, Morrissey (Sarah) Legge; grandchildren Ashley Legge, Isabella Legge, Hunter Legge; mother Ethel Legge; brothers Bruce Legge, Joe (Selena) Legge, Roger (Peggy) Legge, Aubrey Legge; sister Patsy (Robert) Adams; stepchildren Larry (Brenda) Fudge, Harry (Amy) Fudge, Angela (Jason) Pardy; step-grandchildren Cole Fudge, Connor Fudge, Carter Fudge, Aunalee Fudge, Brandon Pardy, Alaina Pardy; step-great-grandchild Arianna Pardy; sister-in-law Annie Legge, as well as other extended family members and friends.

The Home Going Service was held from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Twillingate, on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Lindsey Foster officiating, assisted by Pastors Alwin Reid, William Sampson. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Twillingate. Pallbearers were brothers Roger Legge, Bruce Legge, stepson-in-law stepsons Harry Fudge, Larry Fudge; friend Claude Weir. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Leander Hewlett of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
