Gower Fudge
June 8,1946- December 30,2012

It is with sadness that the family of the late Gower Fudge, age 66, announces his passing at Green Bay Health Centre on December 30, 2012.

Gower was born on June 8, 1946 at Brighton, NL to Pearce & Nellie Fudge. Gower married Hazel Lush on February 23, 1967 and together they had two sons, Pernell & Preston. He was a hardworking fisherman and businessman. They opened their business in January 1969 are still in full operation. He enjoyed working with the public, especially his boat tours. He was a kind, caring husband, father and grandfather who provided well for his family. One of the highlights of his life was when he was blessed with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Predeceased by his father Pearce; mother Nellie; brother Harvey; sister Verna. He leaves to remember the wonderful life that he lived, wife Hazel; sons Pernell & Preston (Serena); grandchildren: Matthew, Hayley, Mitchell & Tamara; brothers Stephen (Pauline), Terry (Shirley), Dean; sisters Yvonne (Stewart), Peggy (Roy), Ferne (Paul); plus a large number of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held from The Salvation Army, Triton on January 2, 2013, officiated by Majors Trixie and William Kean with interment at The Brighton Community Cemetery. The pallbearers were cousins: Rex, Ralph, Hayward & Herman Fudge; friends; Larry Winsor & Francis Verge.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail (Noel) Hancock and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
