It is with great sadness that the family of the late Fredrick Lloyd "Scott" Anthony of Robert's Arm, NL, age 72, announces his passing, on Monday, May 29, 2017 from the Valley Vista Senior Citizens Complex, Springdale, NL.

Fredrick Lloyd "Scott" was born to William and Jane Anthony of Robert's Arm on February 20, 1945. Frederick Lloyd "Scott" was known as Scott to all his family and friends. Over the years, Scott worked in various fields such as the fishery, logging, and lastly mining.

He is predeceased by his parents William and Jane Anthony; brothers Bruce Anthony, Edward Anthony, Harold Anthony, Gerald Anthony, Dawson Anthony, Sandy Anthony, Robert Anthony, Eric Anthony, an infant brother; sister Mildred Parsons.

Scott leaves to mourn brothers Jack (Irene) Anthony, Elmer (Darlene) Anthony; sisters Bernice (Lorne) Strickland, Ruth (Fred) Colbourne; as well as many other family members and friends. He leaves his friends and relatives with fond memories. Scott will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The Inurnment of Ashes service was held from The Centennial United Cemetery, Robert's Arm, NL on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. William Matchem officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Bill Weeks and Elaine M. Rideout of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
