It is with great sadness that the family of the late Fay Kimberly Huxter of Springdale, NL, age 51, announces her passing, on Monday, July 23, 2018 from the Green Bay Health Care Centre, Springdale.

On August 16, 1966 Roy and Mary Huxter were blessed to welcome home a new baby girl, Fay Kimberly Huxter. She was the sixth child of seven.

Fay loved life! She enjoyed reading, gardening, helping her dad around outside. All of her family gave her lots of happiness and joy, especially her nephews and niece. She had a great love for animals especially her cat, Gypsy.

Christmas and Halloween gave her an opportunity to decorate her own place, as well as her mom and dad's. Activities such as this gave her great pleasure each year.

Fay was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be forever loved and remembered. She touched many lives during her lifetime, people that she saw on a regular basis plus many of her Facebook friends.

On July 23, 2018 she began to live at her new Home. She will continue to live in our hearts, even while she is absent from her family and friends here.

Rest in peace sweet Fay!

Fay is predeceased by her grandparents Roland and Flora Huxter, Robert and Selena Norman; nephew Mark Bellows.

She leaves to mourn her parents Roy and Mary Huxter; sisters Gail (Otto) Knottnerus, Christine Huxter, Nancy Huxter, Lisa (Bill) Weeks; brothers Robert (Helen) Norman, Roger Huxter, as well as nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service was held from Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, on Friday, June 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Rachel Robinson officiating. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery, Springdale. Pallbearers were her sisters Gail, Nancy, Lisa; brothers Robert, Roger. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
