It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ernest Doyle Burton of Springdale, NL, age 75, announces his passing, on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his residence, Springdale, NL.

He is predeceased by his first wife Ruth Rice-Burton; stillborn daughter (Baby Burton); daughter Judy Cosmano; granddaughter Elaine Callahan; parents Sandy & Jessie Burton; brother Ted Burton; sisters Lulu Verge, Joan Burton, Betty Oake.

Ernest leaves to mourn his wife Joan Burton; sons Patrick Burton, Dion Burton, Todd Burton, Rocky (Catherine) Burton, Johnny (Laura) Burton; daughter Holly (Ryan) Mullen; grandchildren Michael Callahan, Maja Callahan, Mitchell Fudge, Maurice Fudge, Rhonda Wiseman, Abigail Burton, Pearl Burton, Sam Burton; great-grandchildren Serenity Callahan, Caspian Callahan, Trinity Callahan, Aven Jones; brother Gerald Burton; sisters Joy (Roland) Fudge, Marion (Max) Burton; as well as many other family members and friends. Ernest will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
