It is with heavy hearts that the family of Elijah Cory Wiseman, age 10, of Springdale, NL announces his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center, Springdale, NL on Thursday, March 9, 2017.

Elijah Cory Wiseman was born March 29th, 2006 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He spent the first 4 years of his young life in South Brook before settling in Springdale in 2010. He was the Son of Cory and Becky Wiseman and older brother to Clara Wiseman. He was a 5th grade student at Indian River Academy.

Elijah loved adventure and thoroughly enjoyed travelling with his family. He was most content camping with his family, riding his all terrain wheelchair on trails, and always happy on a beach listening to the crashing waves, feeling the ocean breeze or the warm sun on his face.

Elijah's gentle soul touched the lives of many people. He enriched the lives of his family, friends, the staff and students of IRA, his church family, and the community of Springdale as a whole. He always responded to attention given him and simply loved affection. Elijah and his family will forever be grateful for the love and acceptance he received on this earth until he walked into the open arms of his heavenly father on March 9th, 2017.

He leaves to remember how he enriched the lives of his daddy and mommy (Cory and Becky Wiseman); sister Clara; grandparents Judy Langdon (Arnie Sampson), Harold and Donnetta Langdon, Pleman and Gail Wiseman; aunts and uncles Lisa Langdon, Tammy (Rob) Vincent, Joclyn (Kent) Sceviour, Chad (Jennifer) Wiseman, Jonathan (Tanya) Wiseman, Jeremy (Samantha) Wiseman; cousins Brittany, Alex, Sarah, Grace, Caleb, Abigail, Luke, Rebecca, Rachael, Hannah, Jacob, Liam, Isla, Emmerson; as well as other family members and friends.

The Celebration of Life and Remembrance Service was held from Springdale Pentecostal Church, Springdale, NL on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Pastor L. Foster officiating. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Cherry Crescent, Springdale, NL. Pallbearers were uncles Kent Sceviour, Chad Wiseman, Jeremy Wiseman, Jonathan Wiseman. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Bill Weeks, Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
