Earl Vincent
Thomas
Feb 11, 1947 — Dec 29, 2019
Robert's Arm, NL
It is with sadness that the family of the late Earl Vincent Thomas, age 72, of Robert's Arm, NL announces his passing Sunday, December 29, 2019.
Earl was born to Luke and Louisa Thomas in Middle Arm. They moved to South Brook when he was a little boy. When he was old enough to drive he would drive to Robert's Arm where he met the love of his life Judy Roberts. They later married and had three beautiful daughters, whom he loved with all his heart. The little bundle of joy came into his life was his first grandchild, Jennie-Lee, whom he treated as his own little girl. He watched his three children grow up and marry and have children of their own. There wasn't anything that he wouldn't do for his four girls.
He gave his life to the Lord many years ago and loved his God to the end. He was faithful to the Lord and his church.
Late in life he had cancer and dementia. He never complained about having these diseases. His last wish was to die home with his family around him and we promised him that Mom would be taken care of. With his last breath, he had a smile on his face.
Earl love to play guitar and listen to music, especially gospel and praise songs. He was very proud to teach his grandson and his great grandson how to play guitar.
He is predeceased by his parents Luke and Louisa Thomas; brothers Bert Thomas, Scott Thomas, Jack Thomas; sisters Pearl Morgan, Verna Thomas, Joyce Noble, as well as an infant sister.
Earl leaves to remember the wonderful life that he lived, his loving wife Judy Thomas; daughters Tammy (Dave) Taylor, Kimberly Burton, Marina (Jeremy) Wiseman; brothers Luke (Louise) Thomas; sisters Effie (Albert) Colbourne, Louise (Clifford) Mitchell, Annie (Byron) Foote; grandchildren Jennie-Lee Thomas, Justin Taylor, Shane Burton, Samantha Anstey, Sharmaine Anstey, Jarret Wiseman, Jasmine Wiseman; great-grandchildren Joshua Thomas, Cole Burton.
