On Sunday afternoon of March 8, 2020 Donna Maxine Oxford, of Springdale, NL, age 65, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord, surrounded by her family and friends.

On the afternoon of March 8, 2020 Donna Maxine Oxford of Springdale, NL, age 65, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex surrounded by her family and friends.

Donna was born on December 23, 1954 in Port Anson to Olonzo and Marjorie Fudge. She was one of five siblings, three girls and two boys. She met Kevin Oxford of Springdale in 1970 and they were married on August 1, 1975. They had one son Christopher and one daughter Angela. They were later blessed with a daughter-in-law and son-in-law and three beautiful grandchildren whom she loved and adored.

Donna loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a great love for the outdoors and loved snowmobiling, going on quad and having boil ups in the woods. She also loved to sew and knit. She was always up for a good laugh and she certainly loved her cheesies.

Donna worked at Woolworth's, Mary Brown's, Springdale Retirement Centre and she also babysit for Leo and Doris Winsor and Claude and Phyllis Bowers. Other than work and having fun she loved attending church and was a faithful member of Springdale Pentecostal Church.

Donna had an unwavering faith in God, especially in her fight against cancer. Her trust and faith in God was noticed by many and she was a fighter to the end. She was an inspiration to everyone around her.

She will be greatly missed, never forgotten and forever loved by her family and friends.

Donna is predeceased by her parents Olonzo and Marjorie Fudge.

She leaves to mourn and remember the wonderful life that she lived, husband, Kevin; son Christopher (Laura) Oxford; daughter Angela (Dwight) Harris; grandchildren Savannah Oxford, Keegan Harris, Ava Harris; sisters Blanche (Tim) Burton, Margaret (Hayward) Macey; brothers Gerald (Shirley ) Fudge, Dennis ( Jackie ) Fudge); brothers-in-law, sisters -in-law, nieces and nephews, as well as other family members and friends.

The Celebration of Life service was held from Springdale Pentecostal Church, Springdale, on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Pastor William Sampson officiating. Honorary pallbearers were grandchildren Keegan Harris, Savannah Oxford. Pallbearers were husband Kevin Oxford; son Christopher Oxford; brothers Gerald Fudge, Dennis Fudge; friends Lorne Hobbs, Lewis Oxford, Glenn Budgell; son-in-law Dwight Harris. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
