It is with sadness that the family of the late Daniel Campbell Jr., age 84, of Robert's Arm, NL announces his passing at the Springdale Retirement Centre, Springdale, on Saturday, August 1, 2020.

Daniel was the son of Daniel and Myrtle Campbell.  He is one of 9 children.  At a very young age, Daniel and his family relocated from Little Bay Islands to Robert's Arm.  There he met the love of his life, Alfreda May Paddock.  Daniel and Alfreda married on October 14th, 1960.    They had one child, Ada.

Daniel was raised by Salvation Army parents and he himself was a member of the Salvation Army church in Robert's Arm for many years.

Daniel's interests include car rides, camping and fishing.  His occupation was a logger from a very young age to retirement.

He is predeceased by his, parents Daniel and Myrtle Campbell; brothers John Campbell, Max Campbell, Ches Campbell, Bert Campbell, Jim Campbell; sisters Mime Oake, Doreen Burton, Jessie Ryan.

Daniel leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his beloved wife Alfreda Campbell; daughter Ada (Tony) Parsons; grandchildren Brett (Jennifer) Parsons, Bradley Parsons, Brandon Parsons; great-grandchildren Jordyn Parsons, Gavin Parsons; sisters-in-law Juanita Campbell, Maxine Campbell-Lane, Annie Campbell; the staff and residents of the Springdale Retirement Centre, as well as other family members and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service was held from Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Lt. Colonel Sandra Rice officiating. Interment was at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Robert's Arm. Pallbearers were niece Brenda Penney; SRC staff Doreen Gavin, Jackie Burton, Lorne Burton, Melanie Oxford, Jackie Newbury. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 virus guidelines, the viewing and the Celebration of Life Service for late Daniel Campbell Jr. will be for immediate family and invited guest only.
