It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Fredrick "Cyril" Winsor of Triton, NL, age 67, announces his tragic passing on Sunday, November 24, 2019 on the Robert's Arm Highway, NL.
Cyril was born on April 15, 1952 to Gordon and Avas Winsor of Triton, NL. Cyril was one of fourteen children. As a young man he met and later married the love of his life Fern Roberts of Triton; together they had two children – Craig and Charlene. He went on to be blessed with four grandchildren.
Upon till his health failed him, he worked as a foreman at the fish plant in Triton. Cyril had a puppy named Angel and wherever Cyril went, Angel went with him.
He is predeceased by his parents Gordon and Avas Winsor; grandchildren Kathleen Madore and Kaleigh Madore; brother Ricky Winsor; sister Velma Winsor; sister-in-law Nancy Winsor.
Cyril leaves to remember the wonderful life that he lived, his wife Fern Winsor; son Craig (Virginia) Winsor; daughter Charlene Winsor; grandchildren Thomas Winsor; Alton Madore; siblings Cheryl Flannery, Verna (Dave) Pinksen, Mike (Judy) Winsor, Joe (Lovejoy) Winsor, Wade Winsor, Wavey (Lorne) Noseworthy, Brenda Winsor, Brian (Jean) Winsor, Wanda (Clarence) Short, Terry (Debbie) Winsor, Todd (Suzette) Winsor, Angela Winsor, as well as nieces and nephews and other extended family members and friends. Forever Remembered and Ever Loved!
The Celebration of Life Service was held from Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle, Triton, on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Interment was at the Triton Evergreen Cemetery. Honorary pallbearer was grandson Alton Madore. Pallbearers were nephews Wade Winsor Jr., Jeremy Winsor, Cyril Noseworthy, Jeffery Rice, Christopher Roberts; brother-in-law Clarence Short. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
